Q Is Apply First Aid the same as Workplace First Aid or Senior First Aid, Level 2 First Aid?
A Yes, there are many course names for what is essentially the same content. We deliver Apply First Aid from the Health Training Package
Q What is the difference between you and St John or Red Cross?
A There is not a great difference in course content, it comes down to cost and trainers ability to instruct the course in a fun but informative manner. Q Who accredits your courses?
A Emergency First Aid courses are NATIONALLY RECOGNISED, which means that as an RTO (Registered Training Organisation) we must meet Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) Standards as overseen by VQA and Dept of Education and Training.
Q How long is my certificate valid?
A Industry requirements state that competencies must be reassessed every: 12 months for CPR, every 3 years for all first aid units
Q What course do I need to do?
A It depends on your workplace requirements, but the standard required in most workplaces is First Aid Level II.
Q I need HLTFA1A Apply Basic First Aid as I work in childcare, do you supply this?
A Yes, we deliver HLTFA1A and HLTFA2A, HLTFA301B and HLTFA402B and ensure that the assessment criteria are consistent with competencies required under the Certificate III in Children's Services. On completion your Statement of Attainment would read Apply Basic first aid or Apply Advanced First Aid.
