Security Industry First Aid Training
Changes in 2005 saw the requirement for all Security Industry training in Victoria, including first aid, to be approved and accredited by the Victoria Police Licensing Services Division.
After a lengthy process Emergency First Aid Pty Ltd has become the first and only dedicated first aid training company to be approved and accredited by the Vicpol Licensing Services Division to deliver PRSSO206A Provide First Aid.
Provide First Aid is conducted as part of Emergency First Aid scope of registration and is nationally recognised.
PRSSO206A is included in many security training courses, however with Emergency First Aid, the course can be completed online, by workbook, by the standard 2 day course or even by PrivateTuition.
Participants wanting to Refresh their Security First Aid can also book into a class (soon to be running monthly) or by private tuition
A practical component is mandatory with all First Aid courses.

“Refresher courses:
Each training module has a defined period of validity and currency. LSD will advise each licence holder when they need to refresh their competencies. Licence holders will need to provide proof that they have received refresher training related to the security activity they are licensed for to renew their licence. Failure to refresh can result in licence suspension or cancellation.”
